Another question: the #9 GXE video card in these models has 1 MB of
VRAM. I know it can do 1024x768, but how many colors for NI 72Mhz?
At least 16, but can it go to 256 or 64K (with the new S3 drivers)?
Thanks again for any input.

Creative Labs does have OS/2 drivers available for the panasonic/SB combo.
They seem to work for me, though I don't have a 563- the documentation that
came with the drivers claims to support the 563 as well.

The new S3 drivers will support 1024x768 @256 colors. I believe there is
a beta driver that will support 64K colors, but to have it support 64K at
1024x768 you need 2 meg on the video card.
Hope that Helps!
