projector question

I need to do a presentation in February, and I'll need a projector.
I was wondering if there are any "gotcha's" or can I buy just about any projector.
I'll be using a Toshiba P100 Pro laptop with Panorama driver.

as long as you manage to provide the native resolution of the device at
60 Hz refresh and by analog VGA, there will be no problem.
For presentation purposes this is usually XGA (1024*768@60Hz). I have
never seen a OS/2 display adapter that cannot do this.
