The May issue of the VOICE Newsletter has never seen the light of day.
However, VOICE today has published its June issue on time for the first
time in months. Can we expect to see a July issue on time? Don't hold
your breath. These are the same folks who are denying OS2eCS Org.
members from joining their VOICE Newslist using their os2ecs.org email
accounts. These are the same folks who are censoring OS2eCS Org. news
items from their news list. Quite simply, this is not a way to play
nice. The OS2 Community has always been an open and welcoming
community. I have to admit I'm surprised by these actions of VOICE.
OS2eCS Organization is commited to bringing you news and information
related to OS/2 and eComStation, and this includes from other competing
sources such as VOICE. We believe "variety is the spice of life"! And
that having more than one publication of articles is healthy in the
community. I would subscribe that most OS/2 users believe Microsoft's
monopoly is not only illegal, but strangle-holds the computer industry.
Diversity in any community we believe is a positive force. Monopolies
are not!
The June issue of VOICE has some good articles.
*Mark Dodel Rants
*Mobile Broadband in Austrailia
*In depth article about USB removable devices in eComStation
*Unicode in the new Maul Publisher
*Wireless G with eComStation

Note: You need a current browser such as Mozilla, Firefox, or SeaMonkey
to view the VOICE Newsletter correctly. The VOICE Newsletter is
incompatible with Netscape, IBM WebBrowser (that ships and installs by
default with eComStation 1.1), and IBM WebExplorer. The Newsletter is
compatible with Microsoft's proprietary Internet Explorer though.
