i managed to set up a working samba-server on my ecs1.1-machine. when i
acccess the share from win throu the ip-address it works fine. but i
read, that the nmbd.exe should manage access/lookups of netbios-names.
every time i start nmbd, it dies immediately.
i read in the google-samba-forum, that there should be correct entries
for my ip in etc/hosts and there should be a myname in etc with my
netbios-hostname. but nmbd dies anyway.. :-/
accessing shares thru smbclient works, too, so some things are working
at least...
