hi, i managed to set up a working samba-server on my ecs1.1-machine. when i acccess the share from win throu the ip-address it works fine. but i read, that the nmbd.exe should manage access/lookups of netbios-names. every time i start nmbd, it dies immediately. i read in the google-samba-forum, that there should be correct entries... more »

Copying Files with Samba Client Beta 10 and Netdrive 3.0.3.22

I use the Samba Client Beta 10 for eCS and Netdrive 3.0.3.22. I had mounted several shares and try to copy files from my local harddisk to the mounted netdrives. Why can't I copy files from my local harddrive to the monted shares using the WPS with drag and drop? Using an eCS-window with the copy-command, copying works.... more »
