DON'T ORDER IT FROM "The Programmer's Shop"!!!!!

You can get it *direct* from Symantec for $99+shipping.

If you own *ANY* version of Norton Commander for DOS, you can upgrade for
$49+shipping?

PC Connection will have it in stock next week for $99.

I don't know how long Symantec will offer NC/2 for $99, but it is a very
good price.

Most places are selling NC/Dos for $99. (They both list at $150)

Anyways...just trying to save you a few bucks...

About 8 months ago, didn't Peter Norton give everyone the idea that there
would never be anything bearing his name and running on OS/2?

I guess he's having to eat a little crow....

Of course, now I would like to know how to contact Symantec for an upgrade.
Address, phone number, or email address would be appreciated.

Scott

Yes I believe so. I believe Peter Norton compared OS/2 to unix and said
that Unix was a necessary evil.

Yeah, I wrote Symantec a letter when OS/2 first came out with GA in March, to
consider porting Norton Utilities to OS/2 and they said "They have no plans to
program for OS/2..." :-)

Well, goes to show you OS/2 is winning over the hearts of many.
