60 minutes.I guess it is quite easy to extend that range, but I don't
see a compelling reason to do so-but as I said, since it's really easy
to program, I don't see a compelling reason not to either<g>.

It seemed from his post that he had not looked over PMDiary-you'd be
surprised at the number of people who have not investigated the
productivity apps.

Doesn't seem that it's such a compelling requirement-what does it take
to just make an event for one week before the birthday? 2 separate
events rather than 1 ? No big deal.

Simply unelegant. And doesn't work that good. Problem with timed events is that
the alarm for the birthday on 6/25 goes off say on 6/17 3:00pm. What if I'm not
sitting in front of the monitor on 6/17 3:00pm? I'd like to see a reminder when
I boot the machine after 6/17 and perhaps have some snooze intervall so it doesn't
get annoying everytime I boot.

Ah, but that's ONE MORE THING you have to remember to do, right? Computers
are supposed to make our lives easier, not harder... if I want to create an
event, and get warned a week before, that's what I want... I don't want to
have to create a warning event a week before the event.
