This is an actual statement made by Nikita Khrushchev on May 7, 1960,
after the Eisenhower administration had attempted to cover up the
intelligence gathering mission of the aircraft by claiming it was a
NASA "weather research" vehicle.
The comment was later deleted from the official transcript of
Khrushchev's remarks, and we are grateful to the original poster in
clarifying the full content of the Soviet response to the incident.
