Warpcent tools disappearing HELP

I know of an OS/2 4.0 user with fix 5 who is constantly losing the tool
box of the warpcenter task bar.
I have had to rebuild it several times and even made a new archive with
a good desktop and tool box and shutdown several times and rebooted with
no problem.
But no sooner than I think it is fixed it disappears again. Is this a
virus or is there some other cause? Can you lock the task bar so that
it can't be modified? I've heard of a virus that destroys macros and
the tool bar of W95 or WP, if this is the case could it effect OS/2?

Any help would be appreciated greatly. this is driving me nuts!
