Hi.

I have an old 386 with a good soundcard. I need to play music from 3 wav
files all the time.

I did not find a good dos based programm for that.

Right now I use win3.1 to do so, but it is not a very stable setup and does
not automaticly restart in case of reboot.

Any hints ?

Stephan

Add WIN in the autoexec.bat and this will start thw windows 3.1
automatically.

I don't think a normal sound card can play more than one sound file at a
time. For that you need a much more expensive sound card.

Here's a freeware DOS programme to play WAV files:

NCPlay - Plays WAV, VOC and SND files through PC speaker or Sound
Blaster. Somewhat kludgy. 180 kb.
ftp://garbo.uwasa.fi/pc/sound/nc5play.zip

If you're really looking for a programme to play 3 WAV files
simultaneously, as another user said, then I have no suggestion.

Yes, but the programm itself meads a lot of clicks to do what I want. I can
do with with winbatch or so, but I prefere a simple dos exe.
