MBR und evtl. Partitionstabelle reparieren

kennt einer ein reines DOS Programm was obiges
kann? Ich hatte auf der Platte einen bootmanager
installiert, der aber nicht mehr "runter" will.
Ein "FDISK /MBR" hilft nicht! Windows Programme
gibt es aber ich habe leider noch kein DOS
Programm gefunden.

Arrrg........... sorry. So I will ask my question again:
Does anybody knows of a pure DOS program which is able
to repair partition tables and can rebuild the MBR? On
my disk I have a FAT16 (DOS) partition which I can still
access. The other partition is/was a FAT32 (WIN98) one,
which seems to be lost(?) during some manipulation with
the former installed bootmanager. I was now able to remove
the bootmanger via a program called TESTDISK.EXE but
the second partition is gone, too. The Linux FDISK program
still shows it.
Any help appreciated,

PS: If there is no DOS program a hint to a WINDOWS one is
als welcomed.

I suspect that the DOS partition is marked active in which case it is
the bootable one. Depending on the version, DOS may or may not be able
to see a FAT32 partition. If this is the case, then I suggest you use
DOS FDISK to mark the FAT32 partition as active. Then you will be able
to see both volumes.
Note that some boot managers hide partitions from each other by
manipulating the partition type ID byte. You may be able to use a
utility such as MBRtool to correct this.

Exactly what is Linux fdisk showing? Partitions and their types?

Might try this bootmanager, have been using it for a very long time and
it has never let me down. It's also pretty sophisticated in detecting
OS'es and hiding/unhiding partitions.
