I've found the following concerning 4DOS on your website:
"Yes, if I ever reach a Version 8, it will be sent only to my donors.
If you
are not one of them yet, you sure can become so too!"
I think you should reconsider that very quickly.
Also I don't see the sources for the latest 4DOS builds on your website.
When Rex made 4DOS freeware, he surely didn't want it to become a
private moneymaker for you. IMHO it would be in line with Rex decision
to make 4DOS' code public that you would make the code of your additions
and alterations public too.
It would be fatal if users get the impression that you're trying to
convert Rex generous gift into a private enterprise, however pityable
the return may be.

Only in case that there is really a version 8. So far, there are no signs
that there is one, are there?

This is not true! The source code is there, as it has always been during
the last couple of years, in the form of patches which you can download.
You just have to press the topmost button which says "PATCHES". The note
near it explains that they're source code patches. What isn't clear?

It has always been and is public! See above.

Do you call the total of 144 Euro that I've received in for form of
donations from 8 persons a private enterprise? I don't think it is.

No, but do you think that really matters? It's the impression the reader
gets of your intentions.

Sorry, my fault. I've found them now.

I still don't see that it is the amount that matters. I can understand
that you are frustrated that monetary contributions are so low. But
please turn 4DOS into nagware or beggarware. I'd prefer to see those
lines gone from your site :-)

P.S. It took you a month and a half to notice the texts you talk about :)
