How to Rip a video on a CD (!) ?

I have a video CD with some files on it. I can successfully view the video in a video player.

However I miss the usual *.VOB files.

There are mainly *.VCD files.

How do I rip such a video CD (into an *.avi/*.mpeg file) ?
