Using NT Server 4.0. I frequently use a performance monitor chart with
about 70 computers listed on the chart. Whenever I add a new computer
to an existing (.PMC file) chart, the new computer ends up at the
bottom of the list. I would much rather have the chart automatically
list all computers, including the one I just added, in alphanumerical
order instead. Does anyone have any idea (Registry hack, bug fix,
etc.) of how to accomplish this? Thanks.

Well actually that CAN be consolation to me. I can run my charts on a
Win2k machine if need be. Please pass on the info. Thanks.

tidy , if you just run your .PMC from the command line - ie 70servers.pmc on
a Win2k box it will fire up the new Performance tool - you can then resort
the columns by double clicking on them in the usual way. Then save as a
.MSC - unfortunatly there is no "save as PMC" option.

There is an SDK for Perfmon as part of the Platform SDK - might be worth
sniffing round that

cheers,
