I'm thinking of getting MS Exchange Server for my network ... to dial
out to our ISP and collect email then to be delivered to the
individuals' internal MS Mail and also for the Groupware (scheduling,
forms, etc.)

Would like to get info from ppl who are already using it ...
especially on with crossplatform (i.e. Mac and Win clients).

:)

We are using it very successfully! We have macs running
quickmail and windows clients running exchange. We used
an SMTP gateway for quickmail. We have a 24X7 ISDN
connection with an ascend Pipeline 130 router and Secure
Computing's Sidewinder Firewall.

If you find that MSExchange is either too expensive or for some other reason
isn't what you want, you can upgrade your MSMail system to 3.2 and use the
range of Connect2 products to do this for you.

If you want more information, let me know.

I am considering MS Exchange Server as an alternative to my UUCP mail
setup (of course I will be getting a direct feed beforehand). Where do I
find more information on Exchange, such as features, system requirements
and Internet connectivity issues?
