XP: neither xming 6.9.0.31 nor version 7.x starts

Hi,
after default installation of xming 6.9.0.31 and somewhat version 7.x on
serveral (!) quiet new WinXP installations, a klick to Xlaunch has no
effect! Whats wrong? - Xming 6.9.0.23 works fine: Xlaunch starts and I
can configure a XDMCP session.
