Personal Computer Upgrade & Repair Clinic for the public on Saturday,
December 12, 2009.
WAC experts and volunteers will be on hand to help you with virus and
spyware removal, troubleshooting, and hardware and software
installations (including GNU/Linux and properly licensed Microsoft
Windows operating systems). You must contact us in advance to request
assistance; refer to the clinic rules at http://www.wacug.org/clinic.html.
Also featured will be a hands-on demonstration on how to setup and
secure a home wireless network, and a Learn 30" session on how and why
to set up user accounts on Microsoft Windows systems.
The computer clinic is scheduled for 12:30 to 3:30 PM on Saturday,
December 12 at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), 4210
Roberts Road, Fairfax, Virginia. WAC meetings are free and open to
the public. Bring a friend!
