I have a personal folder in drive C:. The computer has other users,
who can log on to computer with their username and password.
I do not want any other user to see my files under my folder in drive
C: and see any of the contents in these files.
I have done some research and found out that this is possible if the
drive has NTFS format. My C: drive has NTFS format. Still the
"sharing" section on properties of the folder shows "Share with
others" greyed out.
Can someone please tell me the solution.
Thanks.

It looks like the quick and easy answer is to move the folder into
your Profile directory tree, then left-click on it, select Sharing and
Security, then enable the option to Make This Folder Private.

A longer and slightly more involved process might be to disable Simple
File Sharing, which will give you access to the specific allow/deny
permissions for other users and groups. I think this method is only
available in XP Pro, though.
