Huh ... now my printer works.

I was disappointed about one specific thing after I installed the final, retail version of Windows 8 on my main desktop system -- I could not print. Windows 8 could see my printer, but whenever I tried to print anything, I just got an error message.
So now, after a couple of months have gone by, I decided to try again since I needed to print an address label and one page out of a PDF document. And lo and behold ... it works! Who knows why ... maybe some updates that were installed in the meantime fixed the issue.
This is why I don't give up on "Windoze"!!! Things actually can get fixed if you have patience!!!
