Does lynx OS support gethostbyname API (from header netdb.h)

Hi,

Can someone please advice if lynx OS provides support for
gethostbyname API.
I am sorry, I do not know which version of lynx OS i am using,
but it is surely not the latest one (5.0).

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply.
I am using lynx OS 3.1, it doesnt appear to be supporting the
native gethostbyname API (the like which is given by POSIX standards).
I have a manual of system calls supported by this version of the OS,
and I dont see this API listed in it. So, wanted to know if maybe it
is supported in the latest versions maybe..
