When you set up a partition to install Linux, how might you span
it across two drives? My Linux requires 4MB which is roughly
the size of my HD but not exactly as much. I was thinking of putting the

Question for ethtool experts - Pause frames
|

How does ethtool configure pause frames? Documentation shows that -A
is used to change the pause frames as in "ethtool -A eth0 rx on".
However, turning autonegotiation on or off is also an option when
using -A. As far as I know, autonegotiation has little to do with

Confused by drive names hdb2[2]

I have raid set up on my linux computer.
I had a drive fail.
I ran mdadm -add /dev/md2 /dev/hda2
Which fixed the drive. For the moment. However I'm confused what [0]
or [1] or [2] means at the end of these drive descriptions in some
circumstances.

I have a HP DL 180 server with two 750 GB HDDs and one 1TB HDD.
Two 750s in RAID of 1+0 and other 1TB hard disk I plugged in later
