I am attempting to install redhat 7.3 on my Dell Inspiron 8000 Laptop.
(ATI Mobility 8MB Video Card).

Everything seemed to install correctly except for X-windows.

I obtained a config file from dell (XF86Config-4) that works for
redhat 7.2, however this same config file does not work for redhat
7.3.

I am wondering if anyone has had the same problems, or has been able
to successfully get everything working ?

I had to revert back to the redhat 7.2 version in order to be able to
use my laptop - so I would like to find out as much information as
possible before attempting again.

RedHat 7.3 comes with the newer XFree86 4.2 - which uses a different
format for /etc/XF86config.

I'm surprised that you don't get the choice of "ATI Mobility" in the
RedHat setup program?!?
