error booting debian on openpower 710
|
| |
I performed a standard install of debian 7, using all of the default options, and a guided partition using the entire disk. Despite this, when I go to boot the machine, it stops booting with a kernel panic do to a failure to find /init. This appears to be an issue with the initrd image. Is there anything that I should look at first to try and get this working?... more »

I'm porting an application from ARM architecture to PowerPC, which is

|
| |
I was attempting to get Debian (Squeeze, latest net-install CD) working with a Radeon X1900 Mac edition video card (PCI-Express) on my Power Mac G5 Quad.
