I have been getting getting error message like this:

Mar 20 19:57:51 linux named[70]: ns_forw:
query(VIRGINMODELS.COM.ourtownusa.
contains our address (LINUX.OURTOWNUSA.COM:205.138.156.67) learnt
(A=128.9.
7:NS=128.63.2.53)

and a message like this:

Mar 20 19:57:57 linux named[70]: ns_resp:
query(VIRGINMODELS.COM.ourtownusa.
contains our address (LINUX.OURTOWNUSA.COM:205.138.156.67) learnt
(A=128.9.

Can anyone tell me what these messages are about?? Do I have
something set up wrong??

Not without seeing your config files. Please *always* when asking
questions like this place all relevant files in a public directory and
post the URL. I'd guess that you have trailing dots in the wrong
places possibly other problems too.

Notify hostm...@aol.net and jos...@ink.ink.org respectively, their
name tables are doing something against the new rules.

aol.com. 81653 MX 15 e.mx.aol.com.
e.mx.aol.com. 1377 CNAME emin30.mx.aol.com.

compuserve.com. 82946 MX 10 mailgate.compuserve.com.
mailgate.compuserve.com. 82920 CNAME mx1.compuserve.com.

seems to be quite a few CNAME's in MX records occurring.
hmm..
