Protocol filtering - p2p

Hi all,

I would like to configure iptables in order to
recognize and filter p2p connections, namely
edk and bittorrent. Possible connected to geoip.

I found ipp2p, but it seems dead since 2006 or so.

L7-filter seems also quite dead and it seems to
be a kernel patch plus user space.

Is there any other alternative possible?

For geoip the xt_geoip kernel module seems to
work fine.
