Linux is not new to me but non-development apps are. I'm looking for a
program I can use to rip a dvd of a concert and chop it up into the 18 or
so songs on the video. The object is to have a directory of songs I can
play at random when I'm in the mood for them.

It doen't have to be in linus, but I'm ok with it and I get millions of
responses in Google trying to sell me stuff.
