Hi! I have a couple of questions...

Is there any way to mount an MS.DOS stacker partition and see it from Linux?

Is it possible to mount a CD.ROM permanetly and see it in a specific
directory from Linux?

No. Find yourself a copy of the Linux FAQ. OK the answer is really yes but not
in the way you would like. You can see a stacker disk but only through a DOS
emulation using dosemu or similar. So you can see it but only under DOS -
but you can access Linux drives through dosemu so you can copy files back and
forth so it at least saves you from rebooting.

I believe their is an API for stacker, which they probably require payment for,
so it might not be beyond the realms of possibility to do what you (and I) would
like to see, namely a stacker file system.

Yes. Using the -t iso9660 option with the mount command (assuming you
are using a recent kernel with the relevant CD-ROM drivers configured -
which of course depends upon your hardware as well).

Hmm.. an API (what the hell is that? <g> ;)) ... does that mean that I
could mount the Stacker drive and stick it in a directory in linux? and..
does anyone know where I could find a copy of this and how much it would
cost?
