Hi,All.


SATA HDD under RAID 0/1/5,but need download SATA HDD FW.

Tty to use hdparm tool, but seems it doest not support STAT-pass through,but single HDD without raid is available.



How to download the fw?any suggestion tool or method?

Is this hardware RAID or linux md RAID? I'm guessing the former.

Did you read the part of the man page where it said "DO NOT USE THIS
COMMAND", as it "could destroy both the drive and all data on it"?

It's a pain, but I'd suggest pulling each drive from the array (not a
RAID0 obviously) and flashing it from a boot CD instead, especially if
the drives are behind a hardware RAID controller. If you have an extra
drive you can use it to kick off an array rebuild before you flash the
pulled drive.
