DACS 1.4.28a released - authentication/authorization/single sign-on

DSS is pleased to announce DACS version 1.4.28a. This release improves
support for Apache 2.4, corrects many problems with dacs.quick(7), and fixes
a variety of minor bugs.


DACS, a light-weight single sign-on and role-based security system for Apache
or server-based software, provides comprehensive authentication capabilities,
and powerful, transparent rule-based authorization checking for any web service
or CGI program. It runs on recent Linux, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X platforms and
is distributed under an open source license.
