For domestic devices, the best solution is one of those little
yellow step up transformers that you can buy off the shelf
from DIY stores. (Around $50 upwards).
220V is a lot more dangerous than 110V and for the trouble that
heat and vibrations are going to give you, I'd settle
for a $100, 1KVA premanufactured sealed unit with integral trip.

A MASSIVE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY MEETING
I've just recently returned from Inpex held at Pittsburgh USA
and from one conversation I had, its become clear that there is a
great deal of confusion over what it is that I am marketing.
I am not marketing new product, but I am marketing a new technology.
What is the difference?
A new product generates limited income for the
inventor and participating investor(s). A new technology on the other
hand is responsible for thousands of new products.. e.g. a transistor
is responsible for digital watches, computers, software companies, etc..
In other words, it sits at the top of the pile generating far more
revenue than possible with single product investments.
I'm offering investors a chance to participate in the biggest
possible new technology the world has ever seen.
Not even a trillion dollars could capitalise the markets fully - offering
investors unlimited potential. This new technology is bigger than IBM,
Sony, Microsoft, GM, Ford, Intel... etc. etc.. Why? Because if they are
not using this new technology, they will be put out of business by the
dazzling array of new products generated from this new technology.
Enclosed is a copy of an investor document I prepared. At the end,
you can find ftp site info on where to find detailed information on this
new technology. (If you one of the said big firms, you probably want
your best engineers to point browsers at the addresses given below.. :-) )
I am holding a meeting for investors on Saturday 8th of June
at 11.00 am in London (UK) at the address given at the end of
this document. Booking fee is $250 payable to Robodyne Cybernetics - or
you can pay on the day $300 providing seating is available. Time
wasters are not welcome.
In order to fully comprehend what is on offer, you should have fully
read the 60 page document downloaded from the internet site described
before making any decisions. Then you should read the investor
document enclosed below before deciding whether you want to participate.
The presentation lasts at least 5 hours most of which will cover
detailed aspects of the technology and all the global implications.
Meals and refreshments will be served.
INVESTOR OPPORTUNITY
--------------------
Robodyne is marketing a NEW TECHNOLOGY. It is not selling products!
Q: What is the difference?
A PRODUCT generates limited income for the inventor and
participating investor. At an inventors exhibition for example,
there are a few hundred potential products for investors to make
investments.
A TECHNOLOGY on the other hand is a key ingredient that sits at the
top of a pile from which thousands of new products are made. So a
new technology is bigger than any inventor show or anything else
you might have seen. There have been very few NEW TECHNOLOGIES that
have been available for investors.
One example is the invention of the transistor and the microchip.
It is responsible for generating thousands of new products
including digital watches, calculators, computers, missile guidance
systems, software companies, D-RAM producers, etc..etc.. Companies
like Microsoft exist because of the invention of a new technology
called a transistor. A transistor in itself cannot do anything but
because it is the key ingredient that sits at the top of the pile,
it generates lots of products from it for hundreds of thousands of
companies and revenue for their investors.
Robodyne Cybernetics is offering a NEW TECHNOLOGY that is BIGGER
than anything else before it. It is bigger than Microsoft, its
bigger than IBM, its bigger than Intel, its bigger than GM, its
bigger than Sony and its bigger than Mitsubishi.
How can this be??
Every one of those companies will have to use this new technology.
If they don't, they will not be able to function and may very well
be put out of business by this new and ALL ENCOMPASSING technology
and all the new products from this new technology.
So how can an investor invest in this new technology at the top of
the pile and make huge amounts of money?
First of all, FORGET all your PREVIOUS TRAINING. If you want to
invest in Robodyne Cybernetics and its NEW TECHNOLOGY, you got to
forget small time investment schemes in small time products and
think BIG. I am not selling baked beans and if I think that is all
you are capable of understanding then I am not going to deal with
you.
The investment opportunity is for investors to come in, set up a
new company - most of which they will own and control eventually.
Robodyne will licence that company to operate in one sector using
this new technology. In the future, many such companies will be set
up, each owning licences in one sector with minimal overlap.
Agriculture ---> 5% --->
Space Industry ---> 5% ---> Robodyne
Nuclear ---> 5% ---> Cybernetics
Car Production ---> 5% ---> (Operating
Mining ---> 5% ---> Systems)
Medical ---> 5% --->
Construction ---> 5% --->
Military Systems -> 5% --->
...
..etc
Figure 1
The licensed company will pay Robodyne a fee to obtain licence
and 5% royalties on factory gate price. In return Robodyne will supply
operating systems which none of the individual companies will be
able to write because of the HUGE expense involved. Robodyne also
acts as co-ordinator and gatherer of market intelligence, and also
police the system. Investors who make money on one company will be
allowed to set up new companies in different sectors.
Individual companies are in no position to write the operating
systems. It costs billions of dollars all of which has to be
generated from hardware sales. In any case, each company will end
up writing duplicate software with less functionality if Robodyne
is not there co-ordinating international activity.
What is the potential market for each of the companies in Figure 1?
It is billions of dollars!! There is not enough capital in all the
major stock exchanges that can fully capitalise say just the
nuclear company. The market for the nuclear company is $600 billion
just to clean up the nuclear waste mess in the USA alone!
Robodyne's shape changing robot technology can do all of that where
they have answers, and Robodyne's technology will be built into
nuclear reactors of the future because there are no better
alternatives.
The same logic applies to say car manufacturing. Sure you can build
car factories like you used to but with 100% automation
possibilities and costs a fractional percentage of existing plants,
I'd like to see GM wiggle out!! If GM is not kneeling in 10 years,
it is using shape changing robots. Period!
------------oOo------------
To recap quickly, Robodyne is marketing a new technology. I want
investor(s) to set up one company of the type described in Figure
1. This company will be substantially owned by the investors. I
want 25% of the company to provide the technical expertise to make
that first company a commercial success. After 3-5 years, I will
leave that company to set up and run the software company, selling
all the shares in order to generate capital needed to set up.
The opportunity is NOW for the investor(s). After the first company
is set up, it is highly unlikely that I will look at setting up
another company for another 5 years.
I don't want to see time wasters. I don't want to deal with baked
beans investors. If I think you are baked beans investor, I will
not even discuss anything with you for a minimum of five years. If
you have $1 million to set up first company with about 10 engineers
then come and see me.

Did you write this, little guy? (from README.TXT in
ftp://ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/ibmpc/dos/apps/graphics/pm/pm.zip)
"All the concepts and mechanisms described below are covered in the patent
so please don't try to copy it, instead try to licence the technology.
Avoid disastrous disappointments, this technology could have been built
years ago but it has not been accomplished. Through hard work and sweat the
schemes have been researched and put together in a consistent way so that it
can finally be built.
A patent is still a patent and it is designed to protect hard earned
intellecutal property rights - get licenced."
I think you did, you little fsckhead hypocrite.

Interesting that Gary, DFS and Cloggy Woggy would come up with
completely wrong conclusions. Article states,
But Jing Xiao, director of the National Science Foundation's robotics
program, says she is "quite impressed" by the versatility of Michael's
fractal approach.
The market may soon resolve the disagreement. NanoTechnology Development
Corp. (NTDC), a Houston startup, has purchased the first fractal-robot
license. Its initial goal is a bridge-building system for use in the wake
of natural disasters. A bunch of big cubes would be trucked to a collapsed
bridge. The robots would "crawl" across the river or the caved-in section
of the bridge or a landslide (table), then lock together to form a rigid
structure.
Bridge-building is just for starters, though, says NTDC President Michael
S. Forbes. The ultimate payoff will come when the robots are outfitted
with tools and installed in factories to make smaller copies of
themselves. A factory with 1-cm workers, say, would crank out 1-mm clones
until there were enough of them to create a duplicate, but smaller,
factory for making 0.1-mm robots. The final result would be 1-micron
cubes, just a tiny fraction of the width of a human hair.
Clusters of such robots could be programmed to navigate blood vessels and
excise cancer cells, says Michael D. McDonald, NTDC's chief technology
officer and head of advanced research at Access Multimedia Technology.
Cheap robot factories the size of a grain of sand would also serve up a
cornucopia of goods. "Anything you want, you'll be able to replicate" at
home, he adds.
Who knows, but 7 might in the future be sitting pretty with a tiddy wad of
cash into retirement, whilst DFS is still wishing his employer would up
his kitty for his script kiddie writing and that the US Social Security
Administration will not cut back his retirement benefits.
After all, a patent related to software tied to hardware, in this case
robotics, is considered not purely mathematical algorithms and is legal in
most cases.
