You tell the COLA guys, GIMP sucks crap.
They defend the GIMP.

Here is a gorup of graphic artist talking about distro's and GIMP.
((( hint, they don't like it. ))))

http://forum.deviantart.com/os/unix/618383/\

But I know, you non graphic artists, are gonna say how the GIMP rules.
Like always, you flap lips, and defend something your rarely use.

Of course they do, firstly they are advocates; and secondly, you're a
lying shit.

Liar, the Gimp is mentioned on only two posts in that whole thread, the
first says it has a perspective but is not so easy to use as Photoshop,
the second agrees that based on one evenings fiddling, he found it
difficult to use.

I would be astounded if people new to the Gimp didn't find it more
difficult, the UI is radically different from Photoshop.

Note that neither said that the Gimp was crap, or even that it wouldn't
do what they wanted, just that it was more difficult for them to use.

And of course lying shits like you will continue to lie.

Thatwould mean it is NOT INTUITIVE. I guess you don't know what that
is.

It just sucks. It is NOT INTUITIVE.

Why do linux adovocates think that difficult to use is what the world
wants?

REally> I suppose you could put some wit NO computer experience in front a
computer and expec that person to be an expert using Photoshop.

NOTHING is really intuitive. It all depends on experience.

They don't. That is your incorrect inference.

I don't find it difficult to use. But then, I didn't have to unlearn any
other graphics app.

Let me sum this up for you.

GIMP = free
M$ and Apple cost.

I don't read, in a lot of places, where GA's are dying
to download the GIMP and get to work.

What the hell does that say?

I'm not at all sure - if you could provide English translations of the stuff
that you post, it would help, as it would if you would *not* top-post.

However, I'll try....

You say:-

> GIMP = free
> M$ and Apple cost.

True. However, what are you trying to tell us?
GIMP is an image-editing application. Which are the MS and Apple image
editing programs?
Are you suggesting that Microsoft's Photo Editor (which came with Office 97)
is better than the GIMP?

... or are you simply suggesting to us that GAs (Graphic Artists?) are
happier with Adobe Photoshop, which is a third-party application, quite
expensive, written for MS and Apple?
If that is the case, I don't understand your problem. Please see:-

Sure I do, but NOT INTUITIVE is not the same as crap. When you say they
are the same you are lying.

See above for three examples.

You are lying.

Indeed, for people who are used to doing things the photoshop way it is.

You think photoshop isn't difficult to use for a new user?

He thinks the GIMP is hard, he should try blender. But once learned,
blender is a very poweful tool for 3D image creation.

Golly gee, imagine that - not every single person in the universe likes a
given application.

The shock! The horror! Who would ever have believed it?

Oh, right; anyone with a room-temperature IQ or better. Of course, *you*
seem to think it's worth mentioning...
