Linux better than windopws when transplanting
---------------------------------------------

I got me a 7200 RPM pocket drive and installed Ubuntu 9.04
and transplated it from machine to machine booting
and copying stuff back and forth between machines.

The 7200 Linux pocket drive was better for the laptops because they all came
with 5400 RPM drives and slow to boot and do stuff.

The Linux magic is in the pocket drive that booted in
different machines and self reconfigured for each
machine without any intervention.

I believe DARPA had funded years of R&D into self
healing OSes, but here we are with Linux exceeding
all expectations.

Linux better than windopws when transplanting.
