TMax announced their own developed OS technology.
Two version of "TMax OS" for Embedded and Server
Next year, TMax Window for PC

TMaxSoft announced they have developed general OS basic technology for
mobile devices, servers, and PCs on 19th, March.

TMax released the embedded version and server version of TMax OS that
day. They developed these softwares without using other technologies
including open source projects, and they said TMax OS for server can
be used for Unix, Linux softwares with a little modification.

TMaxSoft said that they chose the embedded industry as their first
target because that industry is steeply increasing, and they think
they can make some synergy with other Korean companies in that
industry. They developed some softwares including 'Tibero Light' for
it.

TMaxSoft thinks that they have three fundamental computer system
technologies; database, middleware, and OS technology, and they said
that they will make more effort to get competitive power for Microsoft
Windows.

On the other hand, TMaxSoft will release 'TMax Window' that is the OS
for PC. MS Windows softwares can be run on that OS, and they will
release web browser, multimedia player, and office software including
spreadsheet and presentation softwares.

However, some say that there will be some technical and license
problems to make TMax Window to be compatible with MS Windows because
the source code of Windows is not fully available. Moreover, embedded
OS industry has very strong competitors like Windows CE and Symbian.

(Please forgive my poor English..)
