I can't find any reference to Linux on the page at all, in fact, it doesn't
appear to be capable of running any kind of operating system. According to
the sourceforge site, the software runs on Win32.

So, where exactly do you get the "Runs Linux" part from? Oh, right, you
won't acknowledge your error.

Is that a mirror you're speaking into?

I couldn't see any mention of Linux either. It's under the GPL, though, so
at least it's open source. Roy should amend his heading.

he source where I read about it clearly stated that it was
GNU/Linux and Java. This may not say so on the site, but the
folks at Bath University know their software better. *smile*

Best wishes,

Roy

I hope that research team is keeping up with Windows license purchases
as that machine replicates.

According to their subversion repository, it runs on Java 1.4... (the
host side, the ucontroller stuff is different of course.)

An E-mail message from one of the project's heads (creator of the "Da Witch"
prototype, who also presented the RepRap at Linuxconf 2006).
