Hi! One of the N8VEM builders got their VDU working and posted this
picture. I thought it was neat so maybe you would be interested. The
next step with the N8VEM VDU board is to write a more functional
terminal program to use the local PS/2 keyboard and video display.
Then add the functionality to the CBIOS to use it as a local
terminal. There is a lot of work still left to be done so if you are
interested in building your own Z80 CP/M home brew computer please
join us on the N8VEM project. There is always room for more
developers looking for fun home brew hardware and software projects.
You can always do your own projects too.

Hi! There has been some more development on the VDU for the N8VEM.
Some builders have posted some photos in the files section of the
N8VEM Google Group.

Especially interesting is this movie one of the builders posted. You
can see CP/M working and the builder is compiling a C program.

Also the printer port on the VDU is working. I haven't tested it
myself yet as I am missing some parts but it is interesting to see it
come to life.
