This message shows , that responding to news message works in

Platform as said previously Coherent 4.2.10.
For those interested I would like to remind You , that there exists
package cohulip, which supports networking (it includes drivers)
but only for Ne2000 ISA cards.
Unfortunately it does not support DHCP.
So those interested in adding this support to this package are
challenged. At the moment I have no time to do it.
Otherwise the cohulip package works acceptably, it has ftp and telnet
, smtp modules. In the past, I have used to copy GNU software
distributions between Linux and Coherent, using exactly this package.
It is not extermely fast , but it is acceptable.
I have seen also in streams (/etc/conf/streams) the stream driver
for a NationalSemicoductor NIC, but I did not test it.

to my university site.
I am , or better we, are all waiting for decision concerning
licensing. I have quite a lot of stuff to release.
Including this driver and accompanying networking subsystem.
