Over the past few years I have been working on a historic timeline of
operating systems and there inter-relationships. I have managed to
locate a lot of information on the AOS family of operating systems but
still have a large number of holes and some vague dates.

The AOS family of operating system can be found halfway down on the
right hand side of my graphical timeline.

The graphical timeline can be found here :-
http://www.oshistory.net/metadot/index.pl?id=2165

The Data General section can be found here :-
http://www.oshistory.net/metadot/index.pl?id=2325

Does anyone know of a good source of reliable information or any
correction to the diagram.

Thanks

Paddy

Check with Bruce Ray at Wild Hare Computers - www.wildharecomputer.com. In the
meantime, ICOS was circa 1977, not 1979 - it came out with the CS-40 - and I've
never heard of ICOS II.
