Hello all,

I am trying to find out where the IEEE standard for Motif 1295 went. I
see all sorts of references to its existance, but I can't seem to find
it on the ieee.org site or find any other actual link to it. Why can I
not find it?

Thanks!

I'm not sure it was ever an "IEEE STANDARD" proper. What I found was
some references to IEEE MTE 1295. The MTE is apparently Modular Toolkit
Environment which didn't spec Motif but instead used motif to describe
what they wanted. At any rate the most informative information I found
was here:

Sorry I couldn't be more help, but we're apparently the only two people
here :) I would probably go with the Open Group stuff for guidance now.
