Hi,
The OMG has published the CORBA v3.3 specification at
http://www.omg.org/spec/CORBA/. This new revision of the CORBA
specification integrates ZIOP into the core CORBA specification.
ZIOP delivers a standardized set of QoS policies with which the ORB can
be instructed to compress data on the wire. The ORB uses for this the
new Compression module. An article about this new compression module can
be found at ORBzone.org.
