i have a laptop that has built in Wifi adapter. Since i already have a wifi running in my office i was wanting to configure my laptop to the same netwrok. The issue is that i've been able to configure it but the IP address that i get, on pinging that the result is timed out. I fail to understand what the reason can be. I'm using an Intel 865PERLK motherboard with Windows XP Pro. This motherboard has an onboard gigabit LAN adaptor. Do I really need Intel's ProSet control applet or is it better just to use the drivers alone? Are all of the ProSet functions duplicated by WinXP Pro anyway? TIA

Hi all I am using a corporate computer at home, and i cant seem to share my folders over the WLAN, I have set the laptop to share folders, but cannot see them when i look at the network from other computers.
