(OT) audiveris problem
|
| |
Somewhat OT, but is anyone successfully using audiveris: under linux (mint maya 64-bit) and audiveris v4.2?? I find the drop-down menus show their contents when clicked, but are otherwise inactive.
Thanks.

From squeeze to wheezy, latency 5ms to 30ms
|
| |
Greetings again. As part of the test script for my modules
[link]
[link]
there's a test for reasonable latency. The test client sends itself
an event, and subtracts the times; this is the perl version:
@correct = (11, 1, 0, 1, 2.5, [$id,2], [$id,1], [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 99] );... more »

Where to find Sounddiver for Windows?
|
| |
Is there anybody who still has the installation files or some
functional equivalent of Sounddiver, once made by emagic, before they
were acquired by Apple? I am looking for the Windows version. All I
can find in the net is a crippled Mac version, always linked to some
strange add-on-bars for browsers.... more »

midi file default patch - wildmidi failing
|
| |
I've a problem that's surfaced with the wildmidi program. It seems to need an explicit patch change at the start of a midi file, otherwise it just renders silence. The timidity program on the other hand seems happy to render a file even without an explicit patch change, presumably some sort of default.... more »

OT: Looking for pointers to wav file processing
|
| |
Presumably some MIDI people will also know something about my query and hopefully be kind enough to give me an initial pointer.....
I want to get set up for processing WAV files in real time and outputting the result as audio, under linux. The objective is to create by modifying and combining 'ordinary' sounds.... more »
