Listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio during my drive back to the
shop, I heard him going on about how pleased he was with his iPad2.

He mentioned the iPad2's 2X performance, and how some $9 iPad game
outperforms its $60 X-Box version, and its 10+ hour battery life.

Rush generally speaks well of Apple products. Even so, I still think they

I'm not so certain he does it piss off the libs, although I have no
doubt the libs are somewhat beside themselves whenever he does talk
about Apple. Rush has been an Apple user for quite a long time, and
is a bit of a techno geek himself.

Lessee...

Limbaugh, Beck, both successful multimillionaires, and still around
doing what they do despite those that hate them and their best efforts

easy to see how they all do 'research'.

Basically form the opinion and then look for those things that only

Beck is just a wack-job and it amazes me that he can get and hold an

Zune never was profitable. Microsoft clearly isn't growing as fast
as it used to - and someday Apple's growth rate will slow down as
well.

But a quick Google puts some doubt to your first statement.

It will be interesting to see how the gaming market goes with
Microsoft competing with Wii, and now people such as the producer of
Angry Birds saying the console game machine won't be able to compete
with the future of iPad style interfaces.

Actually a Grammy. It'd have to be televised to win an Emmy. ;)

100 at any one time, anyway.

"Idiot" was good, but not nearly as funny as "Why Not Me?," the
(obviously) fictional account of Franken's bid for the 2000 Presidential
election, running on a populist platform calling for the elimination of
ATM fees, and the dirty tricks he employs to beat his competitors in the
primaries (e.g. hiring actors dressed as drag queens to waive "Gays For
Gore" signs at Gore's rallies in the deep South.)

It was a clever satire leveled at both parties and, of course, the system
itself. Even two of my conservative friends that I turned on to "Why Not
Me?" found it funny, despite an initial resistance to reading it because
of who wrote it. (I lent them my copy so they didn't have to put money
in an "enemy's" pocket! That, and I had to read Limbaugh's "The Way
Things Are" in a complicated arms-for-hostages reading negotiation!)

There must be something in the water in MN. They also elected Jessie

I think everyone with half a brain picked up on the apples and oranges
comparison that was made and how historically absurd it is.

If it really only included the colonies, then it wasn't even an accurate
accounting of the entire United States when it's first president was
innagurated.

He's the wrong type of Christian except when he's a Muslim or a Kenyan
or an ultra-socialist or anything but a person who is acceptable as
President...

The problem is that he tries to be all things to all people, all other
countries, foreign leaders/heads of state.

The only thing is, he comes off as a panderer with little or no real
respect, and just like Jimmy Carter, he also comes off weak. The man
has a broken moral compass, or a compass that seems to be spinning
madly... Maybe we've just discovered a methods of early-warning

Yeah, it really is funny when one side or the other accuses the other
one of using talking points.

On a recent road trip, I switched back and forth between the
conservative and liberal talk radio on Sirius. Two sides of the exact
same coin. Same point, different views.

The only thing is common between the two was it was all bullshit and not
even quality bullshit!

Really? And just what is it about the ideology is it that destroys the

Agreed. Sadly it seems the only way to get ratings is to pander to those
who already agree with you, rather than engage in thoughtful dialog and
try to sway to undecided audience.

There's a guy on Air America Radio in the afternoon called Ed Schultz,
(at least there was the last time I tuned in) who I swear must have
attended and earned top honors at The Rush Limbaugh School of Broadcasting.
His inflections, the pauses, the repetitions of key talking points, and
even the little high-pitched crack in his voice when expressing the
appropriate amount of Mock Incredulity at whatever the Forces of the
Ungodly are up to today, are just a twisted funhouse mirror image of
Limbaugh's delivery. Someone who didn't speak English would have a very
hard time telling them apart!

Fault Limbaugh all you like (and I certainly do!) but he's a master at
his chosen profession and is worth whatever they're paying him.

What 'wingnuts' are yoo blathering on about? Be *specific* please...

Answer: you *can't*

It's major problem is that it doesn't go far enough; it doesn't

.... nor does it even come close to addressing real cost driving
factors: tort reform & medical liability.

So you admit then that Obama's administration is the _current_
perpetuator of the problem?

Ah - the old Rahm Emmanuel "never waste a good crisis" argument, eh?
Or Obama's "We _had_ to do this because of the mess we inherited"
claim, huh. And of course, this whole mess was caused entirely by
'right wingnuts', and _no_ libtards were tools of a progressive agenda
in any of this, huh? Lessee: Barney Frank (and lover) nd Sen. Chris
Dodd practically causing the mortgage meltdown crisis at FNMA and
Freddie Mac (justy for starters - I could go on.)

Uh, I was referring to the San Fran-sicko Senator Nancy Pelosi...
Y'know, the former 'Sniveler of the House' with a really big house
gavel...

And just how are they 'fucking' me in the ass? They're occasional
_entertainment'_ - informative entertainment, but nothing more.

Besides, they aren't fucking >me< in the ass so much as the agenda of
libtard radio wannabes who keep trying and >failing< to duplicate the
success of an industry model that they and Mr. Ailes _built_ and
_dominate_. As an Apple product user, you should appreciate that the
parallels are practically microcosmic. (Ironic, since 'Libby' Jobs has
divinely blessed Rupert Murdoch's 'The Daily' iPaD app, no?)

I'll bet you, like all libtards' either haven't or don't listen to
enough of those guys to even know what or why you all rail against
them so much. What amazes me is the self important smugness and
arrogant condescending and self righteousnes
of libtards making whiny claims that a vast army of 'lil ole ig'nert
hillbilly' listewner/viewers are *soo* manipulated by the 'vast'
empire of Murdoch & Co., even though they're outnumbered by the
leftist influenced media outlets by a factor better than 4:1.

Talk about 'crocodile tears'...

Even if true, one does not solve a debt problem by making it bigger.

So liberal dems like Chis Dodd, Barney Frank pushing their 'give bad
mortgages to idiots who are dumb to afford them' agenda on banks had
nothing to do with starting the mortgage meltdown crisis, huh?

I guess Georgie's additional debt run-up justifies the Obama's debt
run-up by a factor of better than 3:1 in the same time-frame.

Gee, that's kind of like cutting a finger, and the doctor telling you
you have to amputate, no?
