use gmail smtp server in java

I need a mail server to send emails from my java applciation can I use gmail smtp server to send emails other than from and to address toher than gmail ?
Please advice and is there any limitations?

/etc/mail/access was overwritten abnormally...

Hi,
I have some RedHat Enterprise Linux servers (RHEL 5.1~5.7) running
Sendmail to handle mails. I suffered an abnormal event in the last
week. I created one file "/etc/mail/access.sh" in order to apply new

Error 550 ... DNS fails to resolve email domain off of Return-Path:

Is there anyway to force sendmail to use Return-Path as a parameter
and or configure sendmail to use another Return-Path?
I have included
Return-Path: myadd@<domain>.com

The FAQ tip at [link] seems to rely
on the fact that the following entry in virtusertable:
@domain.com user+%1
will cause $1 in the .procmailrc config, e.g.:
ENV_TO=$1
to have the value "NNN" if mail being routed was addressed to
N...@domain.com.
what if instead of "NNN" I wanted to send the value "N...@domain.com"... more »
