I am curious if there is a way to have sendmail 8.10.0 save a copy of mail
rejected based on the dnsbl rule sets to a local account so that if
something comes up, I can verify that it was rejected spam and not a
ill-fated legitimate email.

FEATURE(dnsbl, `relays.mail-abuse.org', `Open spam relay - see http: w
ww.mail-abuse.org/rss')dnl

# DNS based IP address spam list relays.mail-abuse.org
R$* $: $&{client_addr}
R::ffff:$-.$-.$-.$- $: <?> $(host $4.$3.$2.$1.relays.mail-abuse.org. $:
OK $)
R$-.$-.$-.$- $: <?> $(host $4.$3.$2.$1.relays.mail-abuse.org. $:
OK $)
R<?>OK $: OKSOFAR
R<?>$+ $#error $@ 5.7.1 $: Open spam relay - see
www.mail-abuse.org/rss

Thanks

You have to decide what you want: reject the e-mail or accept it?
If you want to accept it, but redirect it, then you need to use
either some home-made rules (e.g., setting a header based on the
dnsbl lookups which is interpreted by problem or redirecting e-mail
based on that) or use procmail and let it perform the dnsbl lookups.
