Is this possible to log IP from which auth failures occurs? I can see only such entries: Sep 30 11:37:19 mail saslauthd[3067]: do_auth : auth failure: [user=maribor] [service=smtp] [realm=] [mech=shadow] [reason=Unknown] It's not very informative.

How do I access the Reply-To header information inside a message envelope so that I can use the information inside the sendmail.cf file for a rewrite ruleset? Because of a poorly written app, thank you Oracle, the From header is going to be a static bogus address. However the Reply-To will hold the correct email address. Hi, we use DNSBLs to reduce the amount of spam and it works quite well. Unfortunately we occasionally block legitimate mail and we eventually end up whitelisting the server or domain in question. Understandably this can be a little frustrating for the sender and also for the mail server admins. We would like to automate this if possible.... more »
