How to let articles read, when reopen the group folder?

When I change in a newsgroup folder and read there some articles and then change to another folder, then rechange to the first folder, all the read messages are set to unread.
Is there a setup to let read messages as read?

Normally Alpine uses the systems hostname to generate the message-id.
Is it possible to use an own FQDN for the mid with Alpine without changing the systems hostname?
If Yes, what is the how-to?

When using Pico, unrequested a whole file can get justified.
How does that happen? What can be done to stop it? How,
when that happens, can a file be unjustified other than by
hand?

Alpine "decodes" text/html before executing mailcap entry

Hi,
My .mailcap states:
text/html; cp -f %s /tmp/toto.html\; seamonkey-html-viewer /tmp/toto.html
When I try to view the HTML part of a mail in latin-9 encoding, text is converted to utf-8 before being sent to my mailcap command. The result is a bad toto.html whose header says "latin-9" but whose body is utf-8.... more »
