Subject: sorting by GMT time

In a typical day, I email with people across the country and sometimes
around the globe.  But Pine's "sort by Date" seems to sort by the
sender's local time instead of by GMT.  This messes up my mail
folders, and makes conversations look to be asynchronous.

Elm seems to automatically sort by GMT, or equivalently by my local
time.  I can display the send date in my local time by showing the
full header.  Is there any way to force Pine to sort by GMT or my
local time?

Sorting by arrival is not the solution, as I often move mail between
folders or bounce mail between accounts.
