Subject: MTX & PCPINE

Greetings ...

PINE 3.96
NT   4.0

PCPINE apparently let you read only files that are of
type MTX or that's what shows up under "Type"
in window listing.  I like to be able to associate that file
type with PCPINE but I can not. Meaning: I want
to PCPINE get executed when I click of file of
that type.... Here is what I do:

 My Computer/View/Options/File Types

First strange thing is that at this point I click
on every single item but I see no MTX!
Then I choose "New Type" and start filling fields....
but creation is unsuccessful because of:
      Error messages:
The extension '.MTX' is already in use by
file type MTX_auto_file. Choose another extension.

Can anyone shed light on this one...
Thank you,
Farid Hamjavar
