Ddave questions re SMTP AUTH and Usenet

Beartooth, I know we're waiting for Ddave to answer some IMAP
questions, but here are 2 questions that are more important at
the moment:

* Does his system support SMTP AUTH? If so, what is the name of
the his SMTP server (e.g., maybe smtp.lserv.com) and what
username should you use when authenticating (e.g., 'karhunhammas'
or 'karhun...@example.com')?

* Can you access Usenet from his system? If so, what is the name
of the news server (e.g., maybe news.lserv.com)?

The current condition seems to be that I do have a way to send: I try to,
get a question about FM, give it an answer, get an error message, and
delete the Fcc: field which titan pine supplies. Then hit ^X again.

I don't know where it's putting copies of the sent stuff; but I got into
my wife's titan account, and a message I had just forwarded to her in that
kludgy way was there.

I've also tried signing out of pine and back in a couple times. And
I've tried reshuffling collections, exiting that function, going back
in, and shuffling some more. It's still doing everything the same way, and
none of the Fcc's my addressbook defines get accepted, nor does Apending
(the archive folder for my titan INBOX).

I forwarded your message above to Ddave, with a carbon to you at your
agora address.

I have just reshuffled collections again, moving FM down. When I got out
of that and back to the normal L screen, it now has the titan IMAP folders
back below the titan incoming-folders. I'll try doing some more email to
see if that helps.
