Hello All;

I used to be able to send emails with compose characters embedded in
the message ... for instance, <left-Alt>+Zero = degree-symbol. I
don't know when it stopped working BUT it doesn't work now. It does
still work in the Linux shell.

Does anyone know if this is a Setup setting or some other user config?
I don't think I'm using the correct search term as a Google search
hasn't been successful.

TIA!

Maybe you selected a bad character setup
display-character-set=UTF-8

Thank you for your response.

I am using Pine 4.64 and the actual command appears to be:
character-set=UTF-8

The special characters now work again. Thanks!
